Technical Ceramics

The Technical Ceramics, a noble sector among the ceramic sectors, is the sector that produces highly technical parts for uses where the parts are subject to heavy wear and heat. It is no coincidence that components made of technical ceramics (Alumina, Zirconium, Silicon Carbide, etc.) are used in textile threadguides, in pumps, in roller kilns for tiles and other materials and even in the brakes and pistons of engines of the Ferrari. To make these products, very expensive machinery and very high temperature kilns are required. This material is fired even up to 1800 °C.
